Beyond data and insights, g-bit also serves as owner’s representative for clients to support execution on investments and programs related to its market intelligence. Key collaborators or clients include William McDonough + Partners, PwC, the American Institute of Architects, E Source, the US Green Building Council, Harvard University, University of Cambridge, Make It Right, ScottMadden, Duke University, Cherokee Investment Partners, Mithun, Enterprise Community Partners, the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, and UNC Chapel Hill.
Cherokee is an environmentally focused investment company that has raised over $2 billion in private equity funds and, separately, founded a number of environmental businesses and invested in over 80 startups and venture funds in the past 29 years. I provide expertise regarding innovation and sustainability to support strategic relationships and new ventures and also co-managed the Cherokee-McDonough Challenge, a competition and accelerator program for high impact environmental startups.

I teach via the Center for Sustainable Enterprise and focus on strategy and entrepreneurship related to real estate and clean energy.

Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, with over 100 faculty, at the nation's 7th best university (US News), is one of the world’s "premier schools for the study of environmental science and policy." I teach about business and strategy related to green real estate development and clean energy via the Duke Environmental Leadership (DEL) executive masters program.
The IDB provides executive education to seasoned executives and high-potential performers in the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, and the private sector. The Institute focuses on logistics, technology, life cycle systems, leadership, organizational transformation, strategic studies, stabilization and economic reconstruction. I teach about the importance of energy innovation and entrepreneurship to the US military.
